Parent Support and Involvement

Building Connections: Join Our Community Support Team in Term 2!
As we look ahead to the start of Term 2, we are eager to open our doors even wider to our wonderful community. We know that our students thrive when they see their families involved in school life, and we have some fantastic opportunities for parents and grandparents to get involved.
Whether you have an hour a week or a morning a month, your presence makes a world of difference. We are currently seeking volunteers for the following areas:
Canteen Support: Help us prepare healthy snacks and serve lunch with a smile. It’s the fastest way to become a "school celebrity" among the students! Friday Canteen would love more support. Sign up on the chart in the office - or drop Jane an email.
Morning Reading: Spark a love for literature by listening to students read. This quiet, focused time helps build their confidence and fluency.
Morning Maths Support: Help students sharpen their basic fluency skills and master their addition, subtraction, multiplication skills during our numeracy sessions.
Toddler Time Workshops: Are you great with the "little ones"? We are looking for helpers to assist in our community workshops designed for potential future students and their younger siblings. More information to follow on this- but if you are interested and possibly available Mondays, we would love your support.
- Lunchtime clubs: Do you have a hobby you are passionate about? We are looking for mentors to help run or assist with clubs like gardening, chess, knitting, art, sport coaching.
Why Volunteer?
Beyond helping the school, volunteering is a wonderful way to meet other families, see the classroom in action, and play an active role in your child’s (or grandchild’s) learning journey.
Note: All volunteers will need a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC). If you don't have one yet, our office staff are happy to help you with the application process! We will also run an induction process for all volunteers working with children in supporting roles.
If you are interested in lending a hand, please email me or sign up via this form. If you require more information, please let me know.
We cannot wait to welcome you onto the team for a brilliant Term 2.
