General Achievement Test (GAT)

This term saw our Year 12 VCE and Early Access students sit the full-day General Achievement Test (GAT) on Tuesday, 16th of June, with an attendance of over 94% for both sections. The GAT is an important part of the VCE and scored VCE-VET studies, assessing general skills in literacy, numeracy, science, mathematics, and humanities.

Students arrived early, were organised, and engaged well with the process. A big thank you to our staff who supported the day - including those who cooked up a well-earned BBQ for students during their break!

In addition to the GAT, our Year 10, 11, and 12 students completed their mid-year exams across a busy three-week period. This is always a demanding time in the academic calendar, and our students showed great determination, discipline, and resilience throughout. For some students, this was their first taste of a formal exam environment, while for others, it was one last practice before the final stretch of VCE assessments.

We had over 90% of attendance on the first day alone for Year 10 and Year 11, with it continuing strongly for the remainder of the exam period.

Congratulations to all students on a fantastic effort this term!
