Hi Anglesea Families,

Our school year is quickly coming to an end, but we still have plenty happening before we get there! Our Beach Safety and Awareness program begins in less than two weeks, followed by Parent/Carer/Teacher interviews, our 2026 classes announcement in Week 10, House Cup and our whole school transition program in Week 11. Students are busy rehearsing for Carols, our Year 6s are preparing for Graduation, and our regular clubs and programs will continue as we teach right up until the final day of term.

Many hours are currently going into the construction of the new grades in 2026 to ensure balance, both academically and socially. We do our very best to ensure that every child is well connected and feels safe and supported in their 2026 class.

As the last month of school fills up, I encourage all students to keep up their daily reading homework and continue this habit over the summer break. Just 15–30 minutes of reading each evening makes a significant difference to long-term learning outcomes. By building a routine of reading for enjoyment, we help set our children up for future success.

Monday helpers wanted

We have a number of outdoor tables that have just been delivered, however all need to be constructed and moved to appropriate areas within the school. If you have a few spares hours on Monday, we'd love your support!

Planning for 2026 – Intention to Leave

As we begin planning for next year, we ask that any families who may be leaving Anglesea PS at the end of 2025-whether due to relocation or other circumstances- please let us know as soon as possible. A quick call to the office or an email to the school (or directly to me) would be very much appreciated- thank you :)
