We are excited to let you know that tickets are now on sale for the Old Orchard Primary School 2026 Junior School Concert - When I Grow Up...!

Our Prep to Year 3 students have been busy preparing for this special performance, which celebrates the many exciting careers and dreams they might have for the future. We can't wait to share this fun and entertaining evening with our school community.

Concert Details

• Date: Tuesday 25th August 2026
• Time: Concert starts at 7:00pm (more details to come closer to the date regarding what time students will need to arrive)

• Venue: The Round, 379-399 Whitehorse Road, Nunawading

Ticket sales are currently limited to three (3) tickets per family. This measure has been introduced to help ensure that as many families as possible have the opportunity to attend the event. Ticket allocations will be reviewed closer to the event date with the possibility of more tickets being available.

Concert Day Rehearsal

All Prep to Year 3 students will attend a rehearsal day at The Round during the day on Tuesday 25th August.  Please provide permission for your child to attend via the Sentral parent portal by Monday 10th August.  There is no cost for the rehearsal.

Are you crafty?

We are looking for help with a couple of our costume items.  We need some astronaut helmets and "granny" wigs for two of our class items.  They don't need to be particularly professional looking.  If you enjoy craft and have some time to help, please let Rhiannon or Sheree know.

Costume Requirements

✨ To help bring our concert to life, families are asked to provide a base costume for their child. The school will provide all accessories needed to complete each costume.

👟 Please ensure all students wear comfortable, enclosed shoes.

🩺 Prep BF – Healthcare Workers

• Matching coloured shirt and pants (scrubs style) 

  OR

• White shirt with black pants

🚒 Prep MB – Police & Firefighters

• Navy or black outfit

  OR

• Red, yellow or orange top with matching (or black) pants 

  *If unable to find coloured pants black will do

🎤 1BG – Performers

• White top
• Black pants or skirt

🚀 1DS – Astronauts & Aliens

• Green outfit

  OR

• White outfit

  (Black pants may be substituted if needed.)

👨‍🍳 1KR – Chefs

• White shirt
• Checkered or plain black pants

👵 2AG – Grandparents

• "Old-fashioned" clothing such as cardigans or sweater vests

School will provide hats, wigs and walking sticks.

🦕 2RM – Palaeontologists / Scientists

• Beige or khaki outfit

  OR

• White shirt with black pants

⭐ 3AC – Celebrities, Bodyguards & Paparazzi

Celebrity

• Red-carpet outfit or dress as a famous person

Bodyguard

• All black outfit

Paparazzi

• White shirt with black pants

School will provide sunglasses for celebrities.

🏅 3MP – Sports Stars

Wear your favourite sporting uniform or athletic outfit, for example:

• Football
• Swimming
• Gymnastics
• Running
• Any other sport
