McKay House

McKay House is providing opportunities to strengthen its sense of community through regular team-building activities designed to foster positive relationships among our students and staff.

Our Thursday stadium sessions focus on creating opportunities for individuals to connect, collaborate and support one another through fun group problem solving activities such as our mat races and mat group challenges. The aim is to encourage our McKay House to build confidence, develop friendships and strengthen communication skills.

When people feel connected and valued, they are more likely to engage with others, support their peers and contribute positively to the house environment. Staff help to promote respect, kindness, inclusivity and cooperation in everyday interactions. 

In McKay House further activities and events are planned across the semester to ensure that strong relationships and community spirit remain at the centre of our Mighty McKay House.
