Get ready for an exciting celebration of curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking! On Tuesday, September 15th, our school will be buzzing with scientific discovery as we showcase the incredible STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) learning taking place across all year levels.
Year 5 & 6 STEM Expo - During the morning, some of our Year 5 and 6 students will join forces with visiting Year 5 and 6 teams from across the Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS) Southern Region for a grand STEM Expo. Student teams will present their boldest ideas on how STEM can make a positive difference in our world.
We are thrilled to welcome a panel of special guest judges to evaluate the projects, including Paul Mercurio MP, our State Member for Hastings! The students are looking forward to sharing their innovative solutions with community leaders and competing alongside their peers.

We invite parents, friends, and families to join us on Tuesday, September 15th, from 2:30 PM to 3:15 PM in classrooms across the school. You will have the chance to explore how every learning community has brought this term's inquiry theme of Creativity to life through the following inquiry questions:
Years 5 & 6: Scientists tell the hidden stories of our world. How can we use their discoveries to design a green, thriving world for the future?
All are welcome to come and wander through the displays, ask our young scientists and engineers about their discoveries, and see firsthand how our students are applying creative problem-solving to real-world questions. We look forward to seeing you there!
