BOOK FAIR

It was a busy three days at our Book Fair with families visiting the library before and after school on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in Week 3.

The Scholastic Book Fair is held annually at our school providing families and students the opportunity to browse and purchase new books and activities.

There was a range of books available from fiction novels to fact finding text as well as a fun variety of young children’s books and a variety of accessories including pens, sharpeners, book marks and keyrings.

Thank you to everyone who attended Book Fair or purchased online using their child’s Wish List. Your support is greatly appreciated as proceeds from all sales are returned to school in the form of points and can be redeemed for different learning resources.

NATIONAL SIMULTANEOUS STORY TIME

Last Wednesday our school was excited to participate in the 24th annual National Simultaneous Story Time (NSS). This year the book was Aura Parker’s Bowerbird Blues that tells the tale of a beautiful bowerbird who searches high and low, across seas and skies in search of all things blue.

Thank you Mrs Capp for organising, our 2024 Library Monitors for their assistance as well as Mr Flood who assisted Mrs Capp with creating a wonderful display in the library to promote the story.
