Flower Power

This week in STEAM, Year 4 students have been looking very closely at the different parts of flowers. 

Students dissected either a lily, a nasturtium or for those up for a challenge, a happy wanderer (Hardenbergia Violacia) flower. They expertly identified the various names for the different parts of a flower and presented their finding on posters which are up on display in the STEAM room and in the library. 

Well done to our Year 4 botanists!
