Hi parents, guardians, staff, and friends! Welcome to Week 9 of Term 4
We would like to begin by acknowledging the Traditional Owners of the land, the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and Bunurong peoples of the Kulin Nation, and pay our respect to their Elders, past, present, and emerging.
How is it already week 9? Times flying, as we are having so much FUN! Our theme for this week is “It’s Beginning to look a lot like Christmas”. The children had an action-packed week filled with a variety of fun and exciting activities! We spent our afternoons playing a soccer match and group games such as jail break and Everyone’s It in the gym, showing off our skills and teamwork. In the TheirCare room, we played a lots of card games including UNO and Cards Against Humanity. Also, we got creative with arts and craft making popsicle stick Christmas ornaments, built our own reindeers and Christmas elf also made a gingerbread man. The children made paper planes, competing to see whose would fly the furthest! The fun did not end there, in the mornings we played a range of group games such as bubble ball and silent ball. It has been a week filled with creativity and teamwork, leaving everyone with unforgettable memories!
Pupil of the Week
This week’s Pupil of the Week is Matilda Snape, for always demonstrating kindness and respect towards both staff and other children and always willing to help others! Well done, Matilda!! You should be very proud of yourself.
Summer Holiday Program
We would like to let all families know that the Holiday Program is now open for booking
PLEASE MAKE SURE TO BOOK EARLY! We will be open on Monday, 6 January 2025. We will be having three weeks and a day of fun at TheirCare. Flyers are available in the TheirCare room, also you can access them online. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Holiday program activities have come out with some exciting excursions planned. From going to Play-Topia, Ninja Warrior Quest, Hole in One! Strike n Score and going to see two exciting new movies Moana 2 and Sonic the Hedgehog 3. Also, we going to be doing some special activities such Octopus Art Attack, Bear-y cool, Skirmish Showdown and Ocean Odyssey. There are flyers in the TheirCare room and online which have details about what is happening each day and all the fun things we have planned.
