Term 2

Welcome to Year 3 with Miss Delmenico, Mr Gibbs and Miss Kew. 

Welcome back to Term 2! We hope you all enjoyed a restful break and had a lovely time with your families. It’s wonderful to see the students return refreshed and ready for another exciting term of learning.

This term, we’re looking forward to continuing our journey together—building on our character strengths, embracing creativity, and deepening our knowledge across all areas of the curriculum. There are plenty of engaging activities and opportunities for growth ahead!

Homework

Weekly homework sheets will be given out on Mondays and will be due on Fridays, following the same routine as Term 1. Homework will be designed to consolidate concepts covered in class and should be able to be completed independently. Students will be expected to read a variety of texts regularly and record their reading in their student diaries at least four nights per week. Weekly spelling words should also be practised each night.

What’s On This Term

Year 3 has a very busy and exciting term planned, with highlights including: Cross Country, Athletics Carnival, Foundation Day Celebrations, Mother’s Day activities and School Photos to name a few.

We are looking forward to a wonderful term filled with learning, discovery, and community spirit. Thank you for your ongoing support—we can’t wait to see all that our students will achieve in the weeks ahead!
