Mother's Day Stall - Friday 8th May

Gallery Image

As is tradition at St Augustine's, our Primary students will have the opportunity to shop at our Mother's Day Stall on Friday 8th May.

This is always an exciting day for our students, and our wonderful volunteers have been busy organising a selection of gifts to purchase for Mum, Grandma or the special person in their lives.

Students will attend the stall in alphabetical groups with siblings having the opportunity to shop together.

Items will be priced from 50 cents to $6.50 so don't forget to send money and a shopping bag with your child/ren to carry their purchases home.

Can you help at our Mother's Day Stall?

Our 2026 Mother's Day Stall will be here very soon.

Thank you to those who have already volunteered to help out.  We are still in need of more helpers for approximately one hour from 9.00am on Friday 8th May. If you are able to help, please contact Bec Ciavarella on 0487 777 330.

All volunteers are required to have completed the Volunteer Registration Process and hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC).  If you will be helping at the stall, we ask that you start this process as soon as possible in readiness for the stall.

New volunteers can find information below on how to register.

Existing volunteers are required to update their details and acknowledge all relevant safeguarding policies at the start of each year and inform the school of any changes to your circumstances or updates to your WWCC.  You can complete the process here.

Do It For Dolly Day - 8th May

St Augustine's is going blue for Do It for Dolly Day on Friday 8th May. Bullying in Australia is at an alarming high, with 1 in 5 children aged 8-12 reporting unwanted online contact, and 70% of 12-13 year olds experiencing bullying-like behaviour annually. Put a stop to bullying by checking in with your friends, showing kindness to others, and supporting those who are struggling. Together, we can create a culture of kindness at St Augustine's College and make it a bullying-free school.

Bullying Help and Support is available at Dolly's Dream:

Volunteer Registration Process

The safety and wellbeing of our students is our highest priority.  To uphold our commitment to child safety, ALL volunteers are required to review and acknowledge our Child Safe Code of Conduct, Staff & Students Professional Boundaries Policy and Photography & Video Policy and Procedures.  Additionally, volunteers must complete a Volunteer Registration form and successfully complete the CESL School Volunteer Induction before commencing their role as a volunteer.

We deeply value the contributions of our volunteers and appreciate your support in maintaining a culture of care and protection.  Together, we can continue to provide a safe and nurturing space for every child to thrive.

For more information regarding volunteering, contact us or click on the link to complete the Volunteer Registration Form

All volunteers will be asked to complete a Volunteer Registration form including personal details, Working with Children Check (WWCC) and two personal referees. Please inform your referees they will be contacted by the school in relation to your volunteering.

Once you have completed the Volunteer Registration form and are approved to volunteer at the school, you will be sent an email with a link to access the required training:

  • CESL School Volunteer Induction; and
