JOIN THE SUSTAINABILITY COMMITTEE & HELP KEEP OUR WELCOME PICNIC LOW-WASTE

Our school’s Sustainability Committee is welcoming new members who want to help build a greener, more sustainable school community. The committee focuses on caring for our kitchen gardens, leading school-wide sustainability actions, and supporting our student Sustainability Leaders as they turn ideas into action.

One of our first projects this year is in relation to the Welcome Picnic, with a focus on keeping it low-waste. Families are encouraged to bring food in reusable containers, bring reusable cups, help by placing items in the correct recycling and rubbish bins during the event and importantly model low-waste habits for our little rippers. Small choices like these make a big difference.
