Welcome to this week’s school newsletter! As we continue to learn, grow and celebrate our achievements together, we look forward to sharing the wonderful highlights, upcoming events and exciting opportunities happening across our school community.

School Performance Reports are generated each year and contain details of how the school has performed on a selected set of student outcome measures, compared to all other government schools, by allocation to a performance group.

The Learning domain measures performance on NAPLAN assessments in Reading and Numeracy, NAPLAN relative growth, and Teacher judgement growth for English and Mathematics.

The Wellbeing domain measures performance on a set of Attitudes to School Survey factors related to emotional awareness, managing bullying, school connectedness, stimulated learning and student voice; and the school’s attendance rate.

P.R.I.C.E. Day

There was a definite buzz in the air today as the students and staff had a blast with P.R.I.C.E. Day. Students selected different activities to attend and were able to demonstrate our school values of Passion, Respect, Integrity, Commitment and Empathy.

Working With Children Check Changes:

To follow changes to the Working with Children Check (WWCC) process and updated Department Policy, WWCC will now be regularly screened through Services Victoria. We are ensuring that we have all the relevant information to follow this new process. If you have completed our Volunteer Induction process, please continue to volunteer, if required a member of our office staff may contact you for further information.

Breakfast Club:

Every Wednesday our student and community volunteers, alongside Ms Matthews and Mrs Macdonald serve up a delicious breakfast from the canteen. Next week they will have Weeties and Muesli available ahead of our next order arriving.

Curriculum Day:

Friday 30th October is a Curriculum Day. Students do not attend school on this day.

Enjoy the weekend ahead,

Amelia
