Religous Education & Parish News

Our Mass on Wednesday was a beautiful celebration of faith. The Year Fives led with confidence and reverence, guiding the community thoughtfully through the liturgy.
Our Year Ones engaged beautifully, listening carefully to the message of Jonah and God’s forgiveness, singing wholeheartedly and learning more about the structure and meaning of the Mass.
Thank you to our teachers for your preparation and support, and to all our students for the respect, enthusiasm and faith you brought to our celebration.
Upcoming Community Masses
Each week, one of our school communities leads the 9.30am parish Mass. This is a rich faith and learning experience for our students.
Teachers carefully plan the liturgy, prepare the presentation, and support children to practise their readings and ministry roles. Time is given to rehearsing the hymns, and a dedicated Religious Education lesson is devoted to exploring and unpacking the Gospel so that students understand the message they are proclaiming.
Each community also invites another year level to join them as guests, strengthening our sense of unity across the school.
Families are warmly invited to attend. We encourage you to join us not only when your own child’s year level is leading, but throughout the term. Your presence affirms the importance of faith in the life of our community and helps our children see that Mass is something we share together.

Project Compassion 2026
This year we have two ways that families may like to support Caritas Lenten fundraising. At our walk for water we will invite students to bring a gold coin to donate. Additionally we have some of the project compassion boxes that you might like to have at home to share your spare change. Please ask your child to go to the admin office and collect one.
Walk for Water is coming to our school.
In partnership with Caritas, students will be invited to take part in a Walk for Water fundraiser to learn about global water inequality and to stand in solidarity with communities who walk long distances each day to access clean water.
This experience helps students connect faith with action and understand how small acts can make a real difference.
Our learning and fundraising will culminate on Friday 27th March. Watch this space for more details.
