REMINDER - Friday 4th April Last Day of Term 1

Please note the last day of Term 1 Friday 4th April school dismissal time is 2:30pm.  It is also a casual clothes day - see flyer below.

Carpark Reminder

Please remember when using the parish carpark:

1. Back in when you park in the bays

2. Collect your child from the car park gate (students should not meet you in the car)

3. When leaving the school with your children exit quickly at the carpark (It is a hazardous place for children to play if you are talking with another parent)

4. Please exit slowly, cautiously keeping watch for people

Lawn Bowls Sporting Schools Grant

As part of a Sporting Schools grant, Sacred Heart students have been enjoying the fantastic game of Lawn Bowls. Using the Rookie Rollers practice kit and activities, students have been exposed to many skills, activities and games to do with Lawn Bowls. It has been great to see the enjoyment and skill development across all year levels. 

Team Vic Trials

Well done and good luck to all the 5/6 students involved in the Team Vic Trials for AFL, Netball, Basketball, Cricket and Soccer. Watch this space for any news on students who have progressed to the next stage of trials. 

Cross Country

Cross Country at Cussen Park is fast approaching! Students have been practising some running stamina and learning about pacing techniques during PE. I’m sure it will be a day of fun, fitness, and personal bests. Information about specific starting times and running tracks are attached in the Permission Form on SIMON.   Helpers are needed on the day, please let Andrew know if you can assist.

Volunteers

At Sacred Heart we value the support of volunteers. Over your child/ren’s journey through Primary School there are many opportunities to volunteer and support your child and the school. Please visit the volunteer page on the school website for further information.

Lunch Orders

Tatura Hot Bread Bakery will be providing the School lunch orders for two days a week. Lunch orders will be available Thursdays and Fridays. Please find below the 2025 price list. 

A reminder orders are to be done through the School, not to be dropped off at the Bakery.

Second Hand Uniform Sales

Sacred Heart will now only be accepting second hand uniform items as a donation to the school. If families wish to sell items we request that this is done privately. Please see below the current uniform stock available for purchase. If you wish to have a browse of the uniforms or make a purchase, please see Sally in the school office on Tuesday or Wednesday.
