Fantastic Fete 2026

SAVE THE DATE! SATURDAY 14TH NOVEMBER 2026 AT FITZROY PRIMARY SCHOOL

Preparations are under way for this year’s Fantastic Fete/La Fête Fantastique and we already have the sense that it’s going to be our best yet! 

At our recent information session, we got lots of new parents/carers signing up to get involved and lots of ideas from our FPS kids as to what they would like to see at this year’s fete to make it super fun for all! 

So, mark the date in your calendar and get excited! 

GOT ANY IDEAS FOR THIS YEAR’S FETE? 

We loved hearing the kids’ ideas at the info session, including requests for a soccer workshops, a downball tournament and pie throwing at the teachers (!!!) so, if you or your kids have any other ideas, in terms of activities, entertainment, games, stalls or anything else, please do let us know and we’ll see if we can make it happen! 

FETE COMMITTEE 

If you would like to be involved in coordinating and organising the fete in the lead up, please join us! We’ll be meeting next Friday 19th June at 3:45pm in the meeting room at school or you can join the Whatsapp group through the QR code or you can email us at fitzroyprimaryfete@gmail.com. 

If you can’t commit to another committee but you have skills, goods, services or ideas that may be beneficial for the day, please also let us know!   

For those who wish to volunteer on the day, we will send out a volunteer roster closer to the fete that you can sign up to. 

HOW CAN YOU HELP? 

If you have contacts with businesses or organisations who could support the fete financially, or make a donation of services or goods to our silent auction, we would love it if you could provide them with a donations flyer showing options to donate. 

Some great silent auction items could also be: 

- Any unwanted gifts or vouchers that could be regifted

- Artworks

- Jewellery

- Travel vouchers

- Hotel/holiday accommodation

- Goods/or services

- Restaurant vouchers or chef/catering services (for private dinners or cooking lessons)
