Welcome back to Term 3, 2026! We hope you have had a relaxing break and are ready for another exciting term that will include an exciting incursion! The Preps have come back with such a positive energy and were delighted to see their friends and share the adventures and activities they enjoyed over the school holidays.

Welcome to Prep A Mrs Kerr

Hi, my name is Cecily Kerr, and I am very excited to be working with Prep A for the remainder of the year and joining the amazing Prep team.                       

I joined GWPS earlier this year as part of the MBU team, which has been a wonderful experience. I have enjoyed working with many students across different year levels and building positive relationships throughout the school.

I have worked in education for many years and bring a wealth of experience, with a genuine passion for learning and teaching, to my new role as the Prep A teacher. I thoroughly enjoy working with students and supporting them as they grow and progress along their educational journey.

Outside of school, my husband and I have three boys. As a family, we enjoy going to the football together, and my husband and I love spending time outdoors, particularly exploring nature and going hiking.

I look forward to meeting many of you over the coming weeks and working alongside you to support your children as they continue to learn, grow, and thrive.

  • Thursday 13th August – Open Morning for English, parents invited to school 9-10am
  • Friday 14th August - 100 days of Prep celebration
  • Monday 31st August – Stand Up Project lesson #3 delivered by our student SUP Leaders
  • Friday 11th September - Curriculum Day
  • Friday 18th September – Last day of Term 3, 2:30pm finish
  • Monday 5th October – First Day of Term 4
