Mr Hyatt

Presentation Night Tonight!

I am really looking forward to tonight as it is a special occasion for the students, teachers, and parents of St Patrick's Primary School. It's Presentation Night! This is a night where we celebrate the achievements of our students throughout the year. It is a time to recognise their hard work, dedication, and perseverance.

We are all very excited about tonight. It is an opportunity for us to come together as a community and celebrate our successes. We have so much to be proud of this year. Our students have achieved so much, and we know that they will continue to do great things in the future.

As we prepare for tonight, we want to remind everyone of a few things. First, please arrive on time. The presentation will begin promptly at 6 pm and will take approximately an hour, where recognition will be given broadcasting the large number of highlights that we have had over this academic year as well as a performance from our school band. The second part of the night will be a barbecue, where all members of our school community are invited to join us.

I look forward to catching up with everyone later on this evening.

End of Year and Year 6 Graduation Mass -Tomorrow, Friday 8th December at 11.30am

Tomorrow, all of the staff and students will be celebrating our End of Year and Year 6 Graduation Mass at St Patrick's Catholic Church at 11.30 am.  Everyone is welcome to join us for this special event.

Last Day of the School Year Activities

To finish off the school year, all of the students and staff will be walking to and from the Walcha Swimming Pool for an afternoon of swimming and pool games. Hopefully, we will have a nice day. The students will be allowed to wear mufti clothing. Can you please ensure that your child/ren does not wear their swimming costumes to school as we will be getting changed before we leave to go to the pool.

During the afternoon all of the students will be taking part in a school disco under the Cola. The disco will commence at 1.45pm and will continue for the rest of the school day.

I am still finalising the staffing arrangements for next year, but I can officially announce the leaders of all classes.

Year 1 / 2 Mrs Flanagan and Mrs Hoy (1 day a week)

Year 3 / 4 Miss Cattelini

Year 5/ 6 Mrs Davey and Mr Hyatt (1 day a week)

2024 School Fees

Recently the Catholic Schools Office sent out a letter to all schools in the office stating that all schools will need to increase their school fees by at least 4%. I know a lot of members in our local community are struggling financially due to the continued rise of interest rates as well as essentials like electricity, fuel, food, and other necessities. I am still juggling various factors for the school budget for next year, therefore school fees will be increasing by 4% in 2024. This equates to around $1.40 per week.
