Reflection

Yesterday was All Saints' Day, the first of two days when we remember those who have passed out of this world through death. The second of these days is All Souls' Day. These two days lead into the month of November when we think with love about those who have died.

Yesterday, we celebrated the communion of saints- the union of prayer and love between saints on earth (perhaps you and me) and the saints in heaven. Some saints are famous. Their names are in prayer books and their pictures are in the newspaper or on the walls and windows of churches. Their stories teach us that there are many ways to follow Christ.

Prayer 

God of grace and wisdom,

you continually raise up good people

who show with their lives

that they follow a holy and loving God.

Let our lives be true to all that our faith teaches,

so that we will grow more and more

in your Son's likeness.

We ask this through Christ our Lord. 

Amen.

Confirmation

This upcoming Sunday 5th November, Addison, Hamish, Lachie and Olivia will be receive the Sacrament of Confirmation at the Parish Mass at 10:30am.  Monsignor Ted Wilkes will confirm our these candidates. Please keep these children in your prayers.

Mass -Friday 17th November at 11.30am

On Friday 17th November, all of the staff and students will be celebrating Mass at St Patrick's Catholic Church at 11.30 am. Everyone is welcome to join us.
