Upcoming Cocurricular Opportunities

Planning for 2024 is well underway and I am pleased to share with you some of the opportunities for international travel.

Years Six, Seven and Eight (2024) - Nihon Tour

We are seeking expressions of interest from students currently in Years Five, Six and Seven who would like to join a School Tour toJapan in Term Four, 2024. The tour would depart Friday 22 November from GSG and return to GSG on Tuesday 3 December 2024. 

An information letter was sent to families earlier this week, please click here to express your interest in this tour.

There will be an information session next week - Thursday 26 October.

Year Twelve (2024) - Leavers Service Tour

We are in the process of putting together an International Service-Learning Tour for Year Twelve (2024) students. At this stage many of the details are yet to be finalised. We understand families might be starting to look ahead to these dates. The one-week (approx.) tour would run in the window from Wednesday 20 November 2024 to Thursday 5 December 2024, immediately after ATAR Examinations.

Clipboard

You may begin to hear your child referring to a platform called clipboard. This application will be rolled out throughout the school in 2024 and will assist us with the management, selection and communication regarding cocurricular activities. The platform connects with current school systems and includes both a student and a parent platform. We are confident that this platform will streamline activity selection and scheduling and increase our child safety during cocurricular activities.
