Positive Behaviours for Learning (PBL)

We are excited to announce the launch of Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL), a school-wide framework designed to foster a supportive environment where every student can thrive.

What is PBL?

PBL is a proactive approach that establishes consistent behavioral expectations aligned with our core values. Rather than simply reacting to challenges, PBL focuses on preventing them by explicitly teaching and reinforcing the positive behaviors we want to see in our classrooms and playground.

Why PBL for Our School?

Research shows that effective PBL implementation, which typically takes 12–18 months to fully establish, leads to:

  • Increased Instruction Time
  • Improved Safety
  • Higher Motivation

Have Your Say: Our Values

PBL is most successful when it is built together. We are currently in the foundational stage of identifying the core values that will guide our school.

We will be inviting all families to share their input via a Google Form. Your voice is essential in ensuring our school values reflect the aspirations of our entire community.

We look forward to sharing regular updates as we build a culture where every student can do their best and help others succeed.

Thanks,
