Classroom Helpers Prep to Yr 2 - Beginning Term 2 - 2026

Working as a classroom helper in your child’s/children’s class is a fantastic way to get involved in the school. Classroom helpers would support the teacher in activities and tasks involving the students. If you are interested in becoming a classroom helper on a weekly or monthly basis, please register your interest to attend one of our induction sessions either in person on Monday 27th April after assembly or online via Google Meet on Wednesday 29th April at 7:30pm.  The session will run for around 30 minutes.

Due to the nature of classroom support and that we want to maximise all students learning opportunities in the school we ask that young children are not present when you are assisting in the classroom. All classroom helpers require a Working with Children check which will need to be documented at school. To obtain a working with children check  visit the following website: http://www.workingwithchildren.vic.gov.au/

Once you have completed the session, an agreed classroom time will be arranged between you and the classroom teachers.
