Reminder: Art Show (tonight!!!) and Colour Run

A reminder of two very exciting upcoming events, the 2026 Art Show Opening on Friday 13th March and the Colour Run on Friday 20th March. Both events are major highlights of the school calendar, with the Art Show being a key social occasion for parents/carers, and the Colour Run being enormous fun for students, as well as for the volunteers on the day!

Details of both events can be found in this newsletter, on Compass and posted around the school. Sincere and enthusiastic thanks to the convenors and volunteer committees of both of these events.

Playground Expansion Update

After a period of dormancy, this week has finally seen some action on the building site between 3/4 and the Gym. Excavations and ground work preparations were completed during the January school holidays, with wheelbarrows, shovels and cement mixers being the stars of the show this week in laying the foundations for the finished product to come in the months ahead.

Once the concrete is in, we will then be awaiting the arrival of the structural elements and the remaining equipment, which we are told is somewhere in the vicinity of a truck in Western Australia, awaiting a trip across the Nullarbor Plain on its way to Lotsarbor Box Hill South. Our project managers are currently anticipating final completion by May, all going well.
