Year 6 

Year 6 students have proudly showcased their learning this week through a vibrant and informative poster based on the Behind the News episode about Lunar New Year. After watching the segment, students took detailed notes, researched key traditions, symbols, and cultural practices, and thoughtfully selected the most important information to include. Their posters reflect real care in layout, colour choice, and clarity of explanation, showing how much effort went into both the research and the presentation. Students also took part in a peer‑assessment process, offering constructive feedback to one another and refining their work based on their classmates’ suggestions. It was wonderful to see them engaging so respectfully and thoughtfully with each other’s ideas while producing such high‑quality work.
