Streamlining Our School Communication

As we refine how we stay connected, our goal is to make communication as simple and effective as possible. A huge thank you to the many families who have already been using the nForma App. 

Our Communication Strategy

To prevent "app fatigue," we are focusing on streamlining our platforms into a more cohesive experience:

  • Nforma is our primary communication platform.  Please make sure you download the app and enable notifications. 
  • We’re happy to confirm that we will continue to use Naavi to deliver the Newsletter to your inbox for the remaineder of this term. This is an important resource for celebrating our school achivements, and providing in depth messaging and updates. 
  • We have heard your feedback, and as a result we will be continuing with Seesaw for our classroom digital portfolios. We know how much you value seeing your child’s learning journey come to life on this platform.  We will will be sure to keep you updated should our plans change in the future.

For Absences/Forms: Use the "Absence" or "Forms" tabs in the menu to submit details or provide digital consent.

Notices: this is for general notices of events for whole school, wider community or multiple classes. 

First Aid: Please ensure your child's first aid profile is up to date.  This is critical for excursions and day-to-day safety. 

Naavi NewsletterNewsletterAccess: It arrives in your inbox. Click the link to open the full issue. 
SeesawClassroom Learning

Access: Log in via the app/website. Use the "Journal" tab to view photos/videos and leave positive, encouraging comments.

Your class teacher may send personalised reminders for your class such as "remember to bring... "

Please do not send messages via the Seesaw App. This is a digital learning platform.  Please use email instead. 

EmailPrivate/Formal MattersWhen to use: Use for detailed questions, sensitive topics, or matters where a written record is helpful. It is also the best way to request a phone call or a face-to-face meeting.
TelephoneUrgent MattersWhen to use: Always call the office for time-sensitive issues, such as last-minute changes to pick-up arrangements.
nForma ChatIncidental UpdatesWhen to use: Use for brief, helpful info (e.g., "My child has forgotten their drink bottle etc").

🕒 Important Reminders

  • NForma Student Profiles:  If you haven’t yet, please log in to nForma to complete your child's First Aid Profile.  Additionally, please enable notifications on your app. 
  • Communication Boundaries: To support our staff’s legal right to disconnect,  generally monitored and responded to between 8:30 am and 3:45 pm on school days. We ask staff to respond between 24-48 hours.  For urgent matters please contact the school via phone.
