Week 4 Update
Dear students, parents and carers,
Next week will be the mid-point of term 3. The weeks are flying past! On Wednesday we had our whole school assembly in the amphitheatre for the first time this term. I'm hopeful that the finer weather will allow us to continue with our outdoor assemblies for the remainder of the term. Families are always welcome to attend these assemblies. It would be great to see you there next week.
Today the Naranga Aerobics Team leaves for Adelaide to compete in the national championships. You may remember that the team came home as national champions last year. Regardless of what the result is this weekend, we are so proud of the girls for qualifying again and wish them the best of luck this weekend.
In staffing news, I am very pleased to announce that Pia Riley has returned to our teaching team this week. Pia was our Art teacher for many years and has returned to join the Pathways team. Welcome back Pia!
Thank you to those parents who have completed the Parent Opinion Survey over the past fortnight. I am very grateful that you have been able to take some time to provide feedback on our school. The feedback is very important and helps us to continually improve the educational experience for our students. At this stage I've only had 10% of parents respond to the survey. My goal this year is 50%. Let's see if we can get to this target in 2024! There is information below on how to access the survey. You would have also received a message with information on completing the survey last week. One response per family only please!

WE WANT OUR PARENTS / CAREGIVERS / GUARDIANS TO TELL US WHAT THEY THINK!
Our school is conducting the annual Parent / Caregiver / Guardian Opinion Survey offered by the Department of Education and is seeking your feedback. The survey is designed to assist schools in gaining an understanding of families’ perceptions of school climate, student behavior, and student engagement. The survey is optional, but we encourage and appreciate your participation.
Our school will use the survey results to assist in identifying areas for improvement and professional development needs in the school, to target school planning and improvement strategies.
The Parent / Caregiver / Guardian Opinion Survey will be open online from Monday 29 July to Friday 30 August 2024.
All families are invited to participate in the survey.
Your child should have brought home a hard copy of the below on Tuesday. Once one parent/carer completes the survey return the slip to the front office or to your child's teacher to go in the raffle to win a $50 Woolworths Voucher.
The survey will be conducted online, only takes 20 minutes to complete, and can be accessed at any convenient time on desktop computers, laptops, tablets or smartphones.
