In perfect conditions, 52 Maribyrnong College students competed at the 2024 Western Metropolitan Region athletics carnival held at Moonee Valley Athletics Track. In a highly successful day for the college, 27 students qualified for the State Athletics Carnival in individual events. With 8 relay teams qualifying a total of 36 students will compete for the school in the State Carnival on Monday 21st October  held at Lakeside Stadium.

Short Story Competition

This year the Academics Committee are hosting a short story competition! This is your chance to showcase your creativity and storytelling skills. Here’s what you need to know:

 

Rules:

1. Your story should be between 500-750 words.

2. Make sure your work is 100% original and responds to one of our 6 prompts outlined in the poster above. (All entries will be checked for plagiarism, including the use of AI-generated content.)

3. You can enter only one story into the competition.

 

Prizes to be won! 

Winners will be awarded a certificate and canteen voucher.
