Pilgrims of Hope: Caring for God’s Creation

As part of their Religious Education learning on Stewardship, the Year 1/2 students participated in a reflective prayer service called the Ecological Examen. This prayer experience invited students to pause and think about how they care for God’s creation. 

Together, we reflected on two key questions: – How did you help take care of creation today? – What can you do tomorrow to be a better steward?

Linking to our theme of Pilgrims of Hope, students showed reverence, thoughtfulness and a growing understanding of their role as caretakers of the Earth. They are to be congratulated for their prayerful participation and their knowledge of stewardship and the Jubilee year.
