Year 10 Outdoor Education

Year 10 students participated in an excursion to Phillip Island to explore key topics from Semester 1 in a practical, outdoor setting.

The day included the Cape Woolamai Beach Walk to the Pinnacles, where students observed coastal ecosystems and considered environmental conservation.

They also engaged in a surfing lesson at YCW Beach, providing a hands-on experience to reflect on motivations for being outdoors.

Throughout the excursion, students were encouraged to act safely and responsibly while deepening their understanding of natural environments and human interactions with them.
