Through the Leadership Lens

Dear Parents, Carers and Families,

And just like that, we have reached the halfway point of the year! The ringing of the final bell this week marks not only the end of Term 2 but the completion of a fantastic first half of 2026.

Our students have had an incredible term filled with growth, learning, and achievements across the classrooms, sporting fields, and creative arts. We are immensely proud of the resilience, curiosity, and kindness our kids have shown every single day. A huge thank you to our dedicated staff for their hard work, and to you, our wonderful families, for your ongoing support and partnership.

We are already looking forward to an exciting Term 3, but first, it’s time for a well-deserved break! Whether you are heading off on a family travel adventure or relaxing locally, we wish you all a safe, happy, and restful holiday.

Keeping Our Kids Safe Online These Holidays

School holidays are always a danger zone for online safety and digital balance. As soon as the holiday bell rings, students experience a spike in screen time.

To help keep our kids safe and ensure a smooth, positive return to school next term, we’ve partnered with online safety experts to share some fantastic free resources. Getting on top of device habits over the break means our kids get a real rest, and it results in fewer digital issues for families and schools to manage on day one of Term 3.

We highly encourage you to check out these free tools with your family over the break.

Have a wonderful, safe, and tech-balanced holiday! We can't wait to see you all refreshed and ready to learn on the first day of Term 3.

Warm regards,

Alyce
