Celebrating Student Success

Illuminate 2026 Shines Bright at Cecil Hills High School
Over two spectacular evenings, Cecil Hills High School proudly hosted the Cowpasture Network Creative Arts Showcase, Illuminate 2026, bringing together students, staff, families and community members in a celebration of creativity, talent and collaboration.
For the first time, Illuminate was presented as a combined primary and secondary showcase, providing a unique opportunity to highlight the artistic achievements of students across the Cowpasture Network alongside the outstanding work of Cecil Hills High School students. The event transformed the space into a vibrant hub of creativity, with audiences enjoying an impressive program of performances and exhibitions.
The showcase featured bands, dance performances, choirs and concert bands from students across the network. Each performance reflected the dedication, hard work and passion of the young artists involved.
We are so proud of our St Johns Park choir who sang incredibly. Our choir students have been working very hard to polish off their performance and showcase their talents. They have continuously impressed us with their dedication to practicing and coming to rehearsals.
In addition to the live performances, visitors explored a stunning exhibition of student work, including Visual Arts, Photography, Digital Media and Industrial Technology projects created by Cecil Hills High School students from Stages 4 to 6. The exhibition highlighted the creativity, innovation and technical skills of our students and provided a wonderful opportunity for the wider community to engage with their work.
A special highlight of the event was the sense of connection and community fostered across the two evenings. Students from different schools shared the stage, celebrated one another's achievements and demonstrated the power of the arts to bring people together.
We look forward to building on the success of this year's showcase and continuing to celebrate the creativity and achievements of our students in the years ahead.
