Installation of Security Cameras

You may have noticed last week when you visited the school, that we had several security cameras installed around St Patrick's Primary. Since the unauthorised individuals trespassed onto the school premises a few years ago, resulting in damage to the COLA and necessitating the canteen to dispose of stock due to a power outage, I have been collaborating with the Catholic Schools Office to discuss the importance of implementing security cameras. The aim is for these cameras to serve as a preventive measure against any possible criminal incidents that may transpire in the future.

These cameras have been strategically placed to ensure that all of the school's access points are covered as well as the new playground equipment. Hopefully we will not encounter any vandalism in the future.

Year 6 Jerseys Have Arrived!

There were some very excited Year 6 students last Friday morning as their Year 6 jerseys arrived! I know I am very biased but the jerseys look absolutely fantastic and even though the weather was chilly on Friday morning, all of the students elected to wear their jersey and placed their jackets in their bag.

The Year 6 students have the option of incorporating their jersey as part of their sports uniform every Wednesday and Friday. I would definitely like this to be an annual tradition where at the end of the year, our current Year 5 students and their families can decide whether they would like to have a Year 6 jersey for next year.

ATHLETICS CARNIVAL tomorrow, Friday 21st June

                                        See you all there!

Thank you to the families who are assisting tomorrow with the carnival.

The weather forecast for tomorrow is expected to be a cloudy day with a top temperature of 11 degrees. Hopefully, this will not eventuate but if there is a chance that the carnival may need to be postponed due to inclement weather, I will inform all of our families via the compass portal early tomorrow morning.

See you at the Carnival!
