Art
This week in art the students learnt about the importance of developing confidence and apperception for their bodies early on in life. This art experience explored the learning of how our bodies are important and we need to learn to look after our bodies and our needs as individuals. By drawing our bodies onto long strips of papers we were able to explore the importance of identifying our emotions, body awareness and the importance of understanding different types of clothing to wear throughout different seasons of the year.
Why is Monet's art important?
Throughout his long career as a painter, Monet Consistently depicted the landscape and leisure activity. He led the way to the twentieth-Century modernism by developing a unique style.
The students collaborated in groups by discussing, communicating and exchanging thoughts how to design their artwork reflecting Monet's unique style of artwork. The aim of art activity was for the students to use their imaginations to explore various techniques, experiment with different, materials and stretch the boundaries of their creativity together as a group.
