Principal's News

All students attending St Louis de Montfort's Aspendale have the right to feel safe.

The care, safety and well-being of children and young people

It is a fundamental responsibility of all within our school.

Dear Families,

We have had another busy week at St Louis with lots of learning and activities happening in all year levels.

BBQ  Fundraisers

The staff ran a BBQ today at Chelsea's Family Fresh Butchers with funds raised will go towards Anna Kolodziej's son Harrison's ongoing care and recovery following his accident.  It was so lovely to so many of our school community past and present come by and show their support.  We have such an amazing, caring and supportive community which I feel blessed to be part of.  Thank you to all the staff who volunteered their time, to Dani Gill for coordinating the event and to Lisa Griffin owner of Family Fresh butchers for donating all of the products for the BBQ we are extremely grateful for your generosity.

If you couldn't make it down to Chelsea to we will be having a BBQ after school from 3pm on Tuesday 9 June and donating the proceeds to Harrison as well.  Thank you to all of our parents and wider community who have reached out to show their support.

Spirit Filled People Night

On Tuesday we had our annual Spirit Filled People night and welcomed guest speaker for the night is Joshua Angrisano, a fantastic Catholic speaker, musician, and content creator who delivered a great talk about using our gifts in our community he was very inspiring and entertaining.  Thank you to the families who joined us.

Little Long Walk

This Tuesday we have our Little long walk celebrating reconciliation week as a whole school.  The ceremony will begin at 9.00am with an Acknowledgement of Country and run for approximately 30 minutes before the walk will begin.  Thank you to Mrs Eva Traynor who does so much work for St Louis in organising these events.

Sacred Heart Mass

On Friday morning we will celebrate the Feast of the Sacred Heart Mass at 9am in the hall as a whole school.  We welcome any of our families who would like to join us.
