Yellow Class News             Miss Jeffs

As we come to the end of another busy and rewarding school year, it is a wonderful time to reflect on just how much has been achieved. The year has been filled with learning, laughter, challenges and many memorable moments, and it has been a pleasure to watch the students grow in so many ways.

Academically, students have made progress across all learning areas. They have developed greater confidence as learners, strengthened their skills, and shown increased independence in their work. Socially, there has been significant growth as well. Students have learnt how to work more effectively with others, show empathy, and build positive relationships within the classroom and playground.

An important part of this growth has been learning how to manage upsets and setbacks. Throughout the year, students have been encouraged to see challenges and mistakes as opportunities to learn. They are becoming more resilient, understanding that failures help them grow stronger, try again, and believe in themselves.

Over the last few weeks, the students have particularly enjoyed gymnastics, showing enthusiasm, determination and a willingness to challenge themselves while having fun.

There has also been plenty of excitement and creativity with our Elf on the Shelf activities, especially when students worked together to design and build houses for the elf.

As the holidays approach, we encourage families to take time to relax, have fun, and enjoy being together. A well-earned break will help everyone return refreshed and ready for the year ahead.

Thank you to all families for your ongoing support, encouragement and partnership throughout the year. It has made a positive difference to our classroom and school community. We wish you a safe, happy and relaxing holiday break and look forward to another exciting year ahead.
