Parent & Friends

You missed a cracker!
You missed a cracker of a meeting this week, with the P&F officially welcoming our new treasurer Jessica Saad DeAngelis and moving forward with changes to the way the P&F operate. We also received an update on all the preparations for the Spring Fair, we discussed the finances to support the Fair and looked at the proposed new school hat. More details will be available in the meeting minutes coming soon.
A Very Special Thankyou!!
The P&F recognised the extraordinary effort of Natalie Nicholls and Marnie Swinnerton and all the volunteers who helped with the Easter Raffle. Thank you also to Rob Gillespie and the volunteers for the Mothers Day morning tea and raffle, it was unanimously agreed that the day was a wonderful celebration of the women in our students lives. A very special thank you also to Rob for organising, purchasing, delivering and assembling the new St Joseph’s BBQ! If you thought an Ikea flat pack was hard, try a BBQ! The P&F make use of the BBQs every term and replacing our old BBQ was well overdue. Thank you very much Rob.
Call out for volunteers - Athletic Carnival BBQ and Canteen
Can you help us? The P&F are organising a sausage sizzle and canteen stall for the athletics carnival on Wednesday 2 July. As you may be aware, there is no canteen facility at Beaton Park that is available to the children on the day. We are seeking helpers to cook the BBQ, serve the children snacks, drinks and sausages. If you are available, even for an hour or two, please contact sjbpandf@gmail.com
