News from One/Two

 What a great couple of weeks we have had in the 1/2 classroom!

Our Father's Day breakfast and activities were a real success. Thank you to all the Dads who came and played Lego with us! We also hope all the fathers enjoyed their Father's Day Super Hero's gift.

The 1/2 class is having a wonderful time constructing their robots during inquiry time. We hope to finish these off next week to show you.

Tuesday's Maroondah Dam excursion was fantastic. I couldn't believe the teamwork that our class showed with all the sporting activities. Well done everyone, we were so tired at the end of our trip!

This week is our last week of learning spelling words and reading folders.

I would like to thank you all for your hard work with your children on reading and spelling this term.

I just wanted to acknowledge the wonderful class support that Cassandra Darwall has been giving our children. This has been our first term this year with Mrs Darwall and she is very much respected and loved by every member of our class. A big shout-out to this wonderful lady.

Our door is always open. Have a lovely, safe break if we do not see you before the holidays.
