Welcome and overall learning summary

We would like to warmly welcome all the new families who have joined the GWPS community this year. It has been fantastic to see the Prep learners settling into their classrooms and building new friendships and connections throughout the day.

We hope you find the information in this termly newsletter helpful in getting to know what’s happening for the Prep learners, as well as in familiarising you with our expectations and learning plans for Term One. Prep A: Mrs Samantha Stefanidis

Teaching and Learning Leader

I enjoy singing, dancing and listening to music
I can speak two different languages being English and Greek.
I love baking lots of yummy treats
I love going to the beach and warm weather.
My favourite thing is watching people learn, grow and achieve!

Prep B: Ms Kat Pei

I love traveling
I like eating sour candies
I enjoy traveling to different places to try various foods.
I love trying new things, and recently I've started learning badminton.
Vietnamese Bah mi is my favorite food
My favorite thing to do is go for walks and connect with nature.

Prep C: Mrs La Ree Byrne

Assistant Teaching and Learning Leader

I relax by catching up with family and friends
I enjoy being outdoors, going for long walks with my boys, going to the beach and playing tennis
I love both Italian and Indian cuisine
I love reading novels when I have time and I adore travelling with my family
One of my most favourite things is coming to school each day to work with the wonderful students in Prep

Prep D: Mrs Maley

I have a Chinese background
I relax by going to the gym
I am a foodie and love Asian cuisine
I have a sweet tooth
I enjoy cooking. Hotpot is my favorite.
I have a great interest in psychology and read a lot about it
I love teaching Maths!
One of my favorite TV shows is CSI
I am not an outdoor person
