Great things are being built at Naranga School
Thank you to the parents/carers who were able to complete the Opinion Survey which closed last Friday. The raffle for the Woolworths voucher was drawn on Monday and went to a parent of a student in the Senior School. The school will look closely at the results of the survey to inform future decision making.
Have a great weekend,
Shaun Bacon
Dear students and families,
I hope that everyone is aware by now that we have a major building project happening at school. There has been so much progress in the last few weeks that I thought I'd share some of the excitement that all of the staff are experiencing with the project. The works will result in an amazing new playground for our Juniors. The playground will be three times larger than the old courtyard. It will have a range of play equipment, a cubby house, and sandpit. But also quiet areas surrounded by nature. One corner will have a basketball court for our sporty juniors. The far boundary of the school grounds will have a new building that houses four classrooms as well as specialist learning spaces for art, performing arts, design technology and physical education. Everyone is so excited to see the finished product. I expect that we'll be able to move into the new building in term 2 next year.
