MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL

What a Great Term 3!

As I reflected on the term on Friday, I was amazed about how many events we had over the term. We must all need a holiday! From classroom celebrations, to important 'weeks', such as Science Week and Book Week, and our annual Family Maths Night, to 3/4 Swimming and an end of term 5/6 Camp, Term 3 has been a huge success. The theme of all of these events is 'connection'. Students have connected positively with their classmates, teachers, education support staff and families.

Thank you to all families for your commitment to Dinjerra, and for joining in these special events with us.

I hope you all have a lovely break. Lily and I are looking forward to welcoming Tommy and Danny back from Finland over the holidays, getting back to being a family of four!

I look forward to seeing you all for Term 4, on Monday 5th October.

Natalie.

Important Dates for Term 4

The following dates will help you with your organisation for Term 4. We do have a few student free days coming up too.

SOARing Students

Ellie-May Kennedy has achieved some great results in her Irish Dancing! Ellie-May danced at the O'Connor School Feis (pronounced 'fesh) in Mornington last weekend. She placed 3rd in her Bun ('boon') Premiership, which is a beginner level championship, and placed 2nd in her Tús (pronounced 'toos') Premiership, which is the Primary level championship.

We have benefited from seeing Ellie-May perform at our Harmony Night celebtations over the last two years.

On top of all of that, Ellie-May received a medal for her basketball on the same weekend! She plays for the U10 Footscray Hawks. Congratulations on some amazing achievements, Ellie-May! Keep SOARing!
