What a Term!
What a wonderful term it has been! A huge thank you to everyone who has helped make Term 3 so memorable, colourful and fun.
💰 Where has the fundraising gone?
Thanks to the incredible support of our Merri-bek Primary School families, the P&C has been busy putting your fundraising dollars to work. So far this year, we have raised funds to support:
- 🍔 Two new school barbecues
- 💡 Our fabulous new digital sign
- 🌱 New plants around the school
- 🎨 Work on a new mural project (upcoming)
- 📚 New furniture for the library (in progress)
Every sausage, raffle ticket, cupcake, donation and helping hand makes a difference. Thank you for helping us make our school an even better place for our kids!

🌈 Friday 14 August – Colour Run & Community BBQ
What a joyful day of colour, laughter and fun!
Thanks to the incredible efforts of our school community, we raised an amazing $26,724! 🎉

🧁 Friday 28 August – Grade 1/2 Bake Sale
How good are school bake sales?! 🧁 Our Grade 1/2 families put on one of the best yet, raising an incredible $1,678 towards new furniture for the library!
A HUGE thank you to Catherine Beck, David Ewing, Erica Read, Jenna Harrison, Jo Wheelahan, Kate Lahiff, Nataly Bovopoulos, Sarah Lynch and Tim Smith, as well as everyone who got busy in the kitchen. From cupcakes to cookies and everything in between, your baking talents were very much appreciated! 💙
💙 Friday 4 September – Father’s & Special Person’s Day Breakfast, Hamper Raffle & Gift Stall
It was lovely to celebrate all the special dads and people who make our school community so great. With our hot breakfast, Father’s & Special Person’s Day Gift Stall and Hamper Raffle, we raised a fantastic $3,530! 🎉
Thank you to everyone who generously donated, volunteered and helped make the morning such a success.

🧻 Toilet Paper Bulk Buy Fundraiser

⚒️ Saturday 22 August - Working Bee
School Council led a fantastic working bee with so many helpers coming together to beautify the School.
