Behaviour Spotlight: Wearing our school uniform with pride
At our school, outstanding behaviour goes hand-in-hand with how we represent ourselves each day. This week, our Behaviour Spotlight is on wearing our school uniform with pride. Our uniform is more than just clothing. It is a visual reminder of our shared values, belonging, and high expectations. Wearing it correctly shows
respect for ourselves, our peers, and our community. We love seeing our students looking sharp, whether they are in the classroom, on the sporting field, or representing us out in public.
Here are some tips on how you can wear your uniform with pride!
- Lay your uniform out the night before
- Know which uniform you will be wearing on each day
- Wear the right colour socks with the right uniform
- Tuck your shirt in
- Wear black shoes with school uniform and sneakers with sport uniform
Stage 2 SPARK Day
Stage 2 students Boris, Rohan, Gatsby, Max & Penelope recently enjoyed an engaging and challenging SPARK Day focused on developing their Creative and Critical Thinking skills. Throughout the day, students participated in a variety of exciting activities, including word puzzles, logic challenges, conundrums, an escape room challenge, and the paper chain challenge. These hands on experiences encouraged students to think creatively, collaborate effectively, persevere through challenges, and apply their problem solving skills in new and innovative ways. It was wonderful to see students enthusiastically working together, sharing ideas, and demonstrating resilience as they tackled each task. The day was a fantastic success, with students embracing every opportunity to stretch their thinking and have fun while learning.
Word of the Week: Pride
Pride is one of the most interesting and versatile words in the English language. Depending on how you use it, it can describe a feeling of great satisfaction in your work. Pride can feel like a feeling of being proud of something like accomplishing a tough exam. But pride can also be a warning against being too stubborn and celebrating too much and going up and over. This week,
we are using pride by showing off our uniforms and not treating it like it isn't anything.
Happy Weekend
