Year 3-5 Bike Education
During Week 1, our Year 3–6 students participated in the Bike Education Program, developing their cycling skills, building confidence and learning valuable road safety knowledge.
Throughout the program, students had the opportunity to practise and improve their bike handling, balance, braking, turning and overall control. It was wonderful to see their progress as the week went on, with students becoming more confident, demonstrating greater control of their bikes and showing increased awareness of their surroundings. Students also encouraged and supported one another as they challenged themselves and developed new skills.
Bike Education is an important part of helping students become safe, responsible and independent cyclists. Learning about road rules, traffic awareness, pedestrian safety and the importance of wearing a correctly fitted helmet helps students make informed decisions and understand their responsibilities when sharing roads and pathways with others.
Theatre Studies Performance Showcase
Congratulations to our VCE Theatre Studies students who showcased their monologue performances to family and friends last week.
Today we wish our unit 4 students all the best as they kick off the VCE exam season with an external examination of the monologues at The Lighthouse Theatre
Moyne Shire Spring Music Festival
Our P–6 students had a fabulous day on Monday 12 October, attending the Moyne Shire Spring Music Festival in Port Fairy!
The students thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to experience live music, celebrate the talents of local performers and be part of a wonderful community event. It was a fantastic day filled with music, excitement and plenty of smiles!
On the journey back to school, we made a special stop at Tower Hill for lunch. The students loved the chance to relax, enjoy their lunch in the beautiful natural surroundings and spend some time together outdoors.
