A note from Mr Gallagher

Thank you and happy holidays

As we approach the end of the year, we want to reflect on the many wonderful achievements we’ve celebrated at Woodlands. This has been a year full of hard work, student growth, and success, and we couldn’t be prouder of what we've accomplished together.

To Our Amazing Students: Your dedication to "Be Your Best" has shone through in everything you’ve done. From academic excellence to artistic expression, sporting triumphs to inspiring performances, you’ve truly embodied our school motto. We are incredibly proud of you all. To our Year 6 students we wish you all the very best as you head off to secondary school. We are very proud of what you have achieved at Woodlands and are sure you will continue to do us proud in the years to come.

To Our Fantastic Teachers: Thank you for your dedication to creating engaging and meaningful learning experiences. Your passion and commitment have been central to our students' success this year. We are very lucky to have such a professional and dedicated group of teachers in front of our students every day. Enjoy a well-earned break over the holidays.

To Our Supportive Parents: Thank you for your ongoing support. The partnership between home and school is the key to students' growth and success, so thank you for being so actively engaged in your children’s education. A special shoutout to the parents who fill the formal positions on School Council and PnF. Your hard work behind the scenes is appreciated.

Year's Highlights:

  • Outstanding Academic Results: Our students have achieved excellent academic progress, showcasing their commitment to doing their best across all areas of learning.
  • First-Ever Art Week Celebration: Our inaugural Art Week, featuring the Art Show and Woodlands Got Talent, was a huge success. The creativity and talent on display were amazing!
  • Langwarrin’s Got Talent: Congratulations to our talented performers who represented Woodlands at Langwarrin’s Got Talent and took home the win!
  • Sporting Success: We’ve had a great year in sports, with many Year 6 teams making it to the state finals. A special mention to our Hoop time Basketball team, who won the state title!

These remarkable achievements reflect our students' hard work and dedication to being their best. We look forward to another exciting year ahead and wish everyone a safe and happy holiday.
