This year, we’re aiming to plant more than 3,000 young indigenous plants, and we’d love for your school community to be part of it.

Local Food Bank now in operation.
With the ongoing cost of living crisis, many Victorian families are struggling. Feeding your family, or yourself and perhaps even your pets, is something that should never be worried about. But this is a sad reality for many Victorians right now.
To be of assistance, I have set up a food bank and pet food bank at my office in Doncaster. This has been achieved via a partnership with CareNet and the RSPCA Victoria.
This new food bank will assist residents who may be struggling, to supplement their groceries and pet food with pantry staple items, to make things just that little bit easier.
Our new food bank is located at
Office 2, 9/11 Williamsons Rd, Doncaster, 3108 and is available
Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.
If you are in desperate need overnight, there will be a small pantry out the front of my office with a select few items available.
Additionally, we may be able to assist with deliveries to organisations who may not be able to access transport. If you would like this, please reach out to Rahn Ferraro-Krammaer at my office via email at Rahn.Ferraro-Krammaer@parliament.vic.gov.au
Warm regards

Are your gutters filling with autumn leaves?
Heading into winter, our Manningham SES volunteers start to see a large number of requests for assistance coming through for ceiling collapses.
It's not just trees and branches down, during heavy rains. When gutters are full of debris the water tends to flow to the lowest point to find an outlet - usually through the ceiling, unfortunately.
We have put together this reminder to ensure your home and businesses are storm ready and hopefully not impacted by heavy rains.
If you need storm emergency assistance, call us on 132 500, 24hrs a day 365 days a year, or if life-threatening, call Triple Zero (000).
You can find out more ways to be prepared and Storm Safe here.
