From the Principal

Dear Parents and Carers,
This week has flown by I have you've had a great week!
Our week here at St Bede's started off beautifully with another awesome assembly on Monday afternoon. Every time we go to assembly our students are really demonstrating their engagement and ability to follow our strict protocols about being an active and respectful listener. This week the school choir performed a Disney tune they had recently performed for local kindergarten students and their voices were angelic!!
On Wednesday as I'm sure you have heard from your children by now, we had an exciting extra assembly when 7 players from the Richmond Football Club came to St Bede's. The players spoke to the students about their favorite sports growing up, who their sporting idols were and importantly how important it is not to give up on your dreams! They also answered some 'hard hitting' questions from the audience! The players were:
Steely Green, Jacob Hopper, Sam Lalor, Hugo Ralphsmith, Luke Trainor, Seth Campbell and Mykelti Lefau.
Marcellin Taster Day
Last Friday Mr O'Conchuir and Mr McFarlane took our Year 5 students (girls and boys) for a day at Marcellin College called Marcellin 'Taster Day'.
It was an opportunity for our Year 5 students to experience a day in the life of a high schooler. With many thanks to Marcellin College our students all had a wonderful day.

NOTE: an email will be sent out in the event running club is cancelled due to the weather.
