Updates from the Leadership Team

Dear Parents, Care Givers, Students, Staff and Friends of St Francis' Primary School,

The leadership teams from both St Mary of the Angels and St Francis Primary School have been working closely with Catholic Education Sandhurst as we move toward the amalgamation of the two schools from the beginning of 2027. Some of the work that has been undertaken includes:

Development of a unified emergency management plan to encompass emergency and first aid processes across both campuses
Formation of an F-12 Finance team to oversee consolidation of all financial and payroll processes
IT review including requirements for a unified IT network and communications
Liaison with media and marketing teams to facilitate a common school website, social media and archival processes
Announcement that primary aged students will be able to access travel to school on the SMOTA bus system where they are otherwise unable to access Catholic education.
Confirmation that St Francis Primary will retain their existing timetable structure to enable a dedicated focus on literacy and numeracy development
Planning for Opening School Mass and celebration at the beginning of 2027.
