St Mary’s

Shooting Team

Monday the 12th October, 10 students travelled to Benalla to compete in the 42nd Annual School Shoot, proudly representing St Mary's College with excellent sportsmanship and respectful behaviour.

Congratulations to Austin Pollard and Arlo Darcy, who faced off in a nail-biting shoot-off for second place. After six targets, Austin took out second place in the New Boys category and Arlo finished third. Macey Shields also demonstrated great skill, securing third place in the Old Girls category. We were delighted and proud to win the New Shooters Team Event (Austin, Arlo and Alex), particularly as we had only three new shooters competing, while other schools entered teams of four!

It was a fantastic day enjoyed by all, and we extend our sincere thanks to Benalla Field and Game for organising such a successful event. Well done to all our students for their efforts and for representing our school so proudly!
