Reading 

In term four, our focus in reading is identifying and revising what good readers do, including reading fluency, accuracy and inferring. Students will receive their copy of our next text, The Wild Robot, at the beginning of term. A reminder students will be required to read a few pages of this each night, to get the most from their English lessons.

Writing

For the first half of Term 4, students will be focusing on constructing persuasive pieces. They will be refining the skills they were taught on this writing style from earlier in the year. Students will also complete some writing pieces relating to their excursion to Sovereign Hill.
