Hi parents, guardians, staff, and friends! Welcome to Week 3 of Term 1!

This week’s theme is “Valentine’s Day”. We have been doing lots of arts and crafts activities during the morning and afternoon sessions. First, we made a Valentine’s Day card for our loved one / special person and we also made a love bookmark – which was very lovely, and the children loved it. We also finished decorating our West Footscray All About Me Garden – the children were so happy to see their flowers and amazing crafts on the wall. We have been maximising the use of the gym and playground in the mornings and afternoons. The children are into playing tennis and love it so much. We all had so much fun this week! 

On Monday, we ran a pupil-free day. Children had so much fun playing soccer match competitions in the gym and other ball games. We also did a variety of arts and crafts – we did the love hearts crafts activities and some Valentine’s colouring sheets in the TheirCare room. Due to the hot weather, we ended up watching a movie later in the afternoon. 

This week’s Pupil of the Week is Maya Sutton (1LE) for being so brave and confident while attending TheirCare for the first time and engaging beautifully with staff and other children. Well done, Maya! 😊😊
